It is advantageous for both employees and employers to move occupationally-injured employees back into the workplace in the least amount of time possible. Yet, integrating occupationally-injured employees can seem akin to pushing rocks uphill.
Sometimes employees seem unenthusiastic about returning to work. Coworkers can be less than empathetic or helpful. And managers don't want anyone other than a person whom they consider "100%" to be working.
And getting an employee back to work without running afoul of the Bermuda triangle of ADA, FMLA, and WC creates even more headaches for HR. So what should you do?

By attending this training session, you will learn how to successfully transition occupationally-injured employees back into the workplace. You will learn about: - Developing a documented process for reassessing and monitoring of job functions as recovery and integration continues
- Accommodating injuries without creating a new, "permanent" position

Teri Morning, SPHR, has over 15 years organizational development and teaching experience in a variety of professional fields for both both profit and non-profit companies.
In addition to a MBA, Teri also has a Master's degree in Human Resource Development with a specialization in Conflict Management, is certified in mediation skills, is qualified as a Myers-Briggs practitioner, and holds the SHRM certification of a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
