Crane Safety: Major Revisions To Federal Crane Safety Standard; Are You Up To Speed
|Date / Time:
Crane accidents are often the most costly of construction accidents, whether measured in terms of lives or dollars lost.
In order to address this key area of concern, OSHA recently updated the federal crane and derrick standard. Effective dates for various portions of the standard are ongoing and will continue through 2014.
Many of the revisions were minor, but some were significant – particularly those affecting the construction industry. If your company has not already looked closely at the revised regulations to make sure you're in compliance, now's the time.
