GHS Authoring Under New OSHA Standards: Essential Rules For Safety Professionals
|Date / Time:
Earlier this year, OSHA published the revised Hazard Communication Standard (HCS). Its alignment with the Global Harmonization Standard, the main focus of the revisions, is now complete. The changes to HCS will be sweeping and the ramifications are far reaching for all organizations that must comply.
GHS adoption by OSHA brings a host of responsibilities to chemical manufacturers, importers and distributors, all directly related to authoring, including reclassifying chemicals using GHS criteria, re-authoring safety data sheets and producing labels in GHS formats, managing regulatory compliance for multiple regions, and more.
If your organization is directly or indirectly affected by these new regulations, you must have a clear understanding of your new compliance obligations and your new deadlines for meeting them.
Participate in this interactive webinar, and you'll learn:
- What regulatory changes to the existing OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) really mean
- New requirements for manufacturers, distributors, importers, and end users
- Changes to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents and formats
- How to evaluate authoring solutions
- Changes to chemical classifications and labeling requirements
- Examples of how the new regs affect SDS formatting from both regional and global perspectives
- Best compliance practices for labeling, authoring, and classification
- How to identify and evaluate third party resources to help assure compliance
In just 90 minutes, learn how to meet new requirements under OSHA's finalized Revised Hazard Communication Standards and the Global Harmonization Standard (GHS). Register now for this informative event risk-free.

Webcasts, audio conferences, and podcasts are presentations that you
attend via the Internet, phone, or mobile device at a specified date and time for "live" versions, or at your convenience for "recorded" and "On-Demand" versions.

any out-of-office time; 2) you can invite as many colleagues as you'd like to listen in on a single phone line; 3) you incur no travel expenses; and 4) you and your colleagues are back
at work immediately after the session ends!
And though with recorded versions you do lose the ability to ask questions, you gain the ability to hear the presentation numerous
times and to share it with others in your office.
Handout materials and the phone number for live presentations are made available to you prior to the event via email from the
