Usama Kahf is an associate in the Irvine office of Fisher Phillips. He represents and counsels employers of all sizes in all aspects of labor and employment law, including wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, and trade secrets. He also regularly advises clients on data security and privacy, document retention, and preservation obligations under state and federal law. Mr. Kahf is a member of the firm’s Electronic Discovery Committee, where he contributes regularly in advising his colleagues and their clients on defensible, effective, and efficient preservation, collection, review, and production of electronically stored information. He regularly presents seminars and trainings on recordkeeping and data security and has co-authored a book on electronic discovery practice under the federal rules. Mr. Kahf has also been selected for inclusion in Southern California Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” every year since 2013.
