Workplace Health Centers: Understanding The Cost-Cutting Benefits Of Offering Onsite Health Care Options
|Date / Time:
More and more organizations are implementing worksite health clinics for their employees.
These can range from providing immunizations or screenings to more complete offerings including urgent and preventive care, pharmacy and lab facilities.
Onsite health clinics provide employees with the ability to stay at work and take care of their medical needs at the same time.
The cost savings and benefits for employers are well-documented. A 2015 Mercer study found that 85% of respondents felt the clinics were a success for their organization. In addition, 63% said the onsite clinics resulted in fewer lost work days. Another 58% said the clinics helped employees with chronic health conditions.
Many organizations are looking to onsite clinics as a way of saving money and improving employee recruitment and engagement (not to mention overall health).
Join us Larry Boress, executive director of the National Association of Worksite Health Centers, and attorney Amy Ciepluch will discuss how organizations can provide employees with onsite clinics that offer affordable healthcare options in compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

- And much more!
