Matthew A. Lafferman
Dentons US LLP
Matthew Lafferman, an associate in the Washington D.C. office of Dentons US LLP, is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution department and White Collar and Government Investigations practice group, he focuses his practice on complex civil litigation as well as white collar criminal matters.
Mr. Lafferman represents clients in connection with government and internal investigations, securities fraud, as well as general litigation. He has handled a diverse range of legal issues, including matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, wire and mail fraud, business torts, bid protests, as well as numerous contract and employment disputes.
Mr. Lafferman has significant experience with both state and federal trial courts. Prior to joining Dentons, Mr. Lafferman served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Robert G. Doumar of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Before that, he worked as an associate at DiMuroGinsberg, PC, where he practiced before both Virginia state and federal trial courts.
