    In this module, you will learn about advanced issues in Virginia including occupational diseases, carpal tunnel syndrome, permanent total disability (disability beyond 500 weeks of compensation), death benefits, issues involving Medicare approval of settlements, and psychiatric claims. The intricate process of Medicare approval and set asides is addressed, as well as problems in Virginia concerning awards which are still open at the Commission and have not been terminated.   • Exam

    An exam is included in the Virginia Workers' Compensation Series. It consists of 50 questions with a 90 minute time period. You must first take the Virginia Workers' Compensation Series training modules before taking this exam. You will have one attempt to pass this exam with a passing score of 70% or higher.
