This course is designed for those individuals who have direct responsibility for investigating and responding to charges of unlawful harassment, discrimination, or retaliation filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) or state or local fair employment practices agencies.

About This Course

Using self-paced online modules, web sessions, video clips, and online discussion forums, the course focuses on practical and proven steps for managing all phases of the charge investigation process, from initial receipt and response through final resolution or referral of the case to litigation.

An orientation workshop at the start of the course introduces participants to the learning platform, addresses how to use it, establishes a timeline for completion of modules and activities, and encourages participants to collaborate with one another.

Thereafter, an experienced facilitator moderates the 6-week course, which allows participants to work at their own pace for segments of the course using CWC's learning system. Weekly self-paced assignments usually include two modules and learning activities.
