OSHA's New Corporate-Wide Abatement Decision: Defend Against Companywide Safety And Health Violations Across Multiple Worksites

About This Course:
If your company operates more than one facility, your risk of being subjected to enterprise-wide Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) enforcement fines and penalties is growing. That’s because a recent Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC) decision indicates that OSHA may have the authority to order abatement measures beyond specific violations identified in a citation(s) (not just at the facility where the inspection occurred). Therefore, the liability you face could be huge.

Consider that during a recent OSHA inspection of a transportation service provider with operations across North America, one of its facilities was cited for failure to comply with the OSHA powered industrial truck standards. OSHA proposed a whopping fine of $330,000 for 14 violations and, in addition to issuing violations for that specific facility, OSHA also required enterprise-wide abatement for the violations in question.

Join us for a can’t-miss webinar and learn the impact this latest OSHA enforcement decision has on your organization. Attorney Howard Mavity will advise you on how to share the new policy to senior management, and how you can prepare and protect your organization in the face of additional exposure from the policy.
