About This Course:
To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the Affordable Care Act’s death have been greatly exaggerated.

Although a modified version of the American Health Care Act (AHCA) squeaked through the House in May, the Senate may make major changes to it, or even ignore it entirely and create its own brand new healthcare reform bill. And there is no firm timeline for this process.

For the time being, the ACA remains the law of the land and that includes the onerous employer reporting requirements: the 1094-C, the 1095-C, and so forth.

What should you, as an HR and employee benefits professional, be doing during this time of uncertainty to ensure you’re well prepared for the 2018 compliance requirements?

Join us for a webinar with experienced and engaging employee benefits attorneys John Hickman and Ashley Gillihan of Alston & Bird, LLP. They’ll give you an up to the minute rundown of where things stand now with the ACA and AHCA, where they’re likely to head, and what you should be doing to prepare.

You’ll learn:
  • The latest on AHCA health care reform, the status of the ACA, and the practical impact today’s health care landscape has on your organization’s health care benefits compliance strategy
  • Looming 2018 reporting requirements under the ACA concerning the employer responsibility rules (a.k.a. “play or pay”) and more
  • How to manage health care compliance obligations in the midst of potential changes to federal law
  • The practical impact of the Trump administration’s regulatory agenda on ACA enforcement
  • And much more!
