  • 31 Years of experience in employment law
  • Retired from the state of Ohio after 30 years of service
  • In-House Legal Counsel for the Ohio Department of Corrections 20 years specializing in workers’ compensation, early return to work and safety/health issues
  • Conducted regular trainings and webinars on the topic of workers’ compensation and early return to work for human resources staff and advised staff statewide on work related issues
  • Directed the work of Special Counsel, Third Party Administrator and Managed Care Organization on workers’ compensation claims and employee safety issues
  • Served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio in the Workers’ Compensation Litigation section and the Workers’ Compensation Fraud Unit
  • Career included working as in-house counsel for the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation; also worked as an administrative assistant for the Industrial Commission of Ohio
  • Graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law/transient student /The Ohio State University (3rd year of law school)
