• Member of Shipman & Goodwin LLP’s Employer Defense and Labor Relations practice group, and is also a member of Shipman’s School Law practice group
  
• Represents employers in all employment law matters before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and state and federal court
  
• Experience includes defending public and private sector employers in employment-related litigation, including wrongful termination, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and wage claims
  
• Advises universities, colleges, public school districts, independent schools, and other public and private sector clients on education and employment matters
  
• Prior to joining Shipman, she was an associate at a national coverage and litigation defense law firm
  
• Law degree, Western New England University School of Law
  
• Served as a judicial law clerk for several Connecticut Superior Court judges, served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Robert G. Fields at the Western Housing Court in Springfield, Massachusetts, served on the Connecticut Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Section Executive Committee Labor & Employment Law as the co-chair, and Lawyers Collaborative for Diversity’s Board of Directors, and currently serves as Operation Fuel’s Board of Directors, Secretary
  
• Presented at the Connecticut Association of Diversity and Equity Professionals’ (CADEP) webinar on civil rights law update, and presented during Shipman’s Fall Labor and Employment Webinar Series: 2021 – A Year in Review and Looking Forward to 2022
