Lori Goldstein
Lori Goldstein Lori Goldstein, an employment lawyer since 1984, represents business owners, employers and employees through her sole practice, the Law Office of Lori A. Goldstein LLC. After receiving her undergraduate and law degrees from University of Illinois, Lori worked as a management-side employment and litigation attorney for two mid-sized Chicago law firms before starting her own firm in 2011. Her advice on workplace rights and issues ranges from discrimination, harassment and retaliation, to equal pay, wage-hour, employment, non-compete and independent contractor agreements, and severance agreements. Employer compliance audits and training, administrative claims, and defense of charges of employment law violations are also a regular part of her practice, and she presents regularly on employment law topics. Lori is practical and passionate about helping organizations and individuals achieve peaceful solutions to workplace issues, find closure, and move forward.
Giving back to the community is also very important to Lori. She’s held several volunteer and nonprofit board positions, including current roles as Board Member at Career Resource Center in Lake Forest, Vice President of the New Trier High School Board of Education, and Governing Board Member of the North Suburban Special Education District (NSSED.) She also serves as a volunteer attorney at the Lawyers for the Creative Arts.
