In-Person Seminars

Since COVID, many training sessions have moved to online only, so you'll be happy to find that we offer several titles that are available via instructor-led sessions, with each available in in-person or video conference options (same course, just differs in where you take it).

Q:Which are your most popular seminars?

Q: Does your FMLA and ADA seminar cover 'Reasonable Accommodations', 'Intermittent Leaves', and 'Return to Work' issues?

Q: Do I receive a certificate for attending one of your classes?
A:
Yes. In addition to the great training, you receive a certificate that is suitable for framing.

Q: Do I have to attend a seminar in person?
A:
Our seminars are available in both in-person and virtual options. Both options contain the same training; the only difference with the virtual option is that you attend the virtual session from the comfort of your home or office, as opposed to a hotel or conference center.

Q: Do your seminars qualify for SHRM or HRCI re-certification credits?
A:
Yes. Most qualify for 18 or more SHRM or HRCI re-certification credits.

Q: Can you bring your training to our location?
A:
Yes! We do exactly this for a number of organizations each year. Not only does doing this save your organization time and travel expenses, but depending upon the number of employees you want trained, you can receive up to 50% off of the regular price! [View Details and Pricing]

Online Courses

Q: How do your online training courses work?
A:
Our online courses follow Instructional Design requirements, meaning the course is broken into multiple Lessons. Each Lesson has a 'Lesson Goals' page showing the two or three key points to learn from that Lesson. It then provides training - in English, not legalese - with lots of Tips, Examples, and Procedural Recommendations, then concludes with 'End Of Lesson Quizzes" that are multiple-choice question that state a potential situation that you, as the administrator, must handle.

Q: How long do I have access to the course?
A:
Laws are subject to change, so you want to make sure that you have training materials that are up to date. As such, our courses are sold as annual subscriptions where you a) have access to the training materials for a full year, and b) receive updates from us whenever the laws change. Annual renewals are only $99, making it easy and inexpensive to stay current with compliance requirements.

Q: Do I have to attend your webinars in person, or do you offer recorded or on demand options?
A:
You have the option of selecting either live in-person or OnDemand versions.

Q: Do your webinars qualify for SHRM or HRCI re-certification credits?
A:
Yes. Our webinars typically qualify for 1.5 SHRM or HRCI re-certification credits.

Certifications

Certification programs offer HR professionals a chance to acquire and/or hone essential skills. At the same time, certification courses award important designations that can help you get hired and advance your career.

Q: How do your certification programs work?
A:
Our certification programs follow Instructional Design requirement. Each Lesson has a 'Lesson Goals' page showing the two or three key points to learn from that Lesson. Q: How do I earn the certification?
A:
Each course has an exam. You need a score of 85 or higher to earn the certification.

Q: Am I required to take the Certification Exam, or can I just use the program for training purposes?
A:
The Certification Exam is an optional feature that is included with the Program at no extra charge. Users who do not need or want a certification are not required to test.

TPAs

Q: Our firm is a TPA for COBRA compliance. Do you have a training program for us?
A:
Many organizations outsource some or all of its compliance requirements to a Third Party Administrator (aka "TPAs"). But who trains the TPAs? We do! In fact, many of the country's TPAs - including John Hancock, Liberty Mutual, Fidelity, and several Blue Cross Blue Shield chapters - have a hundred or more of their administrators that have been trained by us. We offer training, as well as "Certified TPA" seals, for qualifying organizations through HRcertification.com, our sister organization.
