Project Management, Instrument & Controls Engineer

This 4-hour course will introduce you to the major requirements of professional instrumentation project management.

Course Deliverables

This course will instruct you in the steps employed to establish a well-organized documentation system. The course makes use of spreadsheet tools in Microsoft Excel and you must be able to download ZIP files and open in spreadsheets.

The I&C (Instrument &Control) discipline probably requires the most intensive set of documents next to the actual project controls themselves. It is important to have a thorough understanding of the various documentation requirements.

Some of the documentation is discussed in depth in separate courses. The course will enable the student to setup a complete instrument index that will result in a successful project at its conclusion.

This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
